My Review on the First Season of My Adventures with Superman (2023) Season 1

Ever since i watched the new Genndy Tartakovsky show named Unicorn Warriors Eternal which has to be the best adult swim and American cartoon shows of 2023, with anime-influenced shows like Invincible, etc. taking over the world by storm, My Adventures with Superman tries to take that formula to be the Superman but like Invincible-esque and Anime-influenced similar to Crunchyroll's Original Anime shows that are pretty darn good, so here is my review on My Adventures with Superman Season 1 for the episodes and the whole show itself.

Episodes 1-2: I would say this show is like Invincible meets Superman, the 1-2 episode series premiere is decent in my opinion, spoilers ahead, Lois Lane almost didn't even knew who superman was, but Clark was probably superman, my favorite part is the fight scenes with the robots, which makes this show more interestingly good than any other WB/DC show, what's more interesting is that this show was moved to Adult swim due to the Warner bros discovery merger and adult swim's takeover on the 7PM to 6PM time slot same to Unicorn Warriors Eternal, I'd say I really like this show so far, can't wait for the next episode of this show

Episode 3: it was an amazing episode so far, my best part is the white-haired girl from the villain team (INTERGANG), and of course superman hanging out with lois lane (aka the adult luz noceda from the owl house), even of course the big guy from INTERGANG team as well is such my favorite villain along with the white-haired girl from the show, in the ending, Lois calls Clark an liar because Lois probably know that Clark is Superman, and thinks Clark was lying all the time, anyway, episode 3 is amazing in my opinion, better than the 2023 Velma

Episode 4: I'd really say I Liked this episode alot, my favoirte part is Superman fighting the purple armored Founder of Amazo (Ivo), and of course in the ending of the episode, Lois finds a paper under clark's pocket that clark ripped from the magazine which was boy flying in kansas, lois remembers the events that were connected to that, so she finally founded out that Clark is Superman.

Episode 5: in the end of episode 5 Lois Lane was pretty much disappointed that Clark is Superman after Clark was lying to Lois for the very big time, Clark could've told the reason why he was superman to Lois, Lois did not want to talk to Clark at all in the end, hopefully Lois can understand Clark's story on why he was superman in the next episode of My Adventures with Superman, my favorite part is Superman fighting with Heat Wave, but it's a shame Lois Lane did not liked Clark Being superman after Clark Kent lying to her in the end of episode 5 at all i guess...

Episode 6: So, I’m after the events of what happened to Episode 5 that Clark had lied to Lois and Lois had betrayed Clark that he is Superman and Embarrassed her not just because of that, because Lois was finding out Secrets about Clark of being Superman, or was just exposing him in a bad way, anyway, in episode 6, Jimmy was kidnapped by an Intelligent Gorilla (Mullah) & German Robot (The Brain) for Entering Their Laboratory, My Favorite part is when The Brain speaks German Language & Accent, and Superman getting along with Lois & Jimmy, Mullah & The Brain after they defeated the robots in the middle end of episode 6, another spoiler is when the General from Episode 5 appears in the end of Episode 6 along with his soldiers finding out what happened to The Laboratory where Mullah & the Brain Was, the episode itself was Amazing! Can’t wait for Episode 7.

Episode 7: This episode has to be the best episodes, my favorite part is when Mr. Mxyzptlk first appearance that reminded me of an Isekai anime character, if Gilbert Gottfried was alive, he would’ve voiced that character just like how he did in Superman the Animated Series, they were some 80s & 90s Easter eggs like the Animated series Superman & 80s Superman while Mr Mxyzptlk was changing Clark like that to an crab, Clark having the best date with Lois forever besides Mr. Mxyzptlk & The Other Lois in the Lois Multiverse Legacy almost ruined the date, the date for Clark & Lois had went very well, but for spoilers, I’m the end of episode 7, While Lois Lane Had the Superman-X Crystal, Lois has found out that every Superman is not a good superman.

Episodes 8-9:

Zero Day Parts 1-2 is intense and amazing, what’s more intense is that the villains that the general release from the Helicopter and were from the previous episodes of the show, Superman was too weak to fight them until he became powerful in the middle of the end but started going weak again by Dr. Ivo before Ivo got Weakened by The General, the General has Taken Clark away from Lois and Jimmy, Clark has been sent somewhere by the General, before that, Lois thought every Superman was bad but two of the ladies from Part One that think Superman is bad are pretty much lying, Lois & Jimmy wants Superman to go back to normal but Clark wouldn’t care about it and just move on to find the General, i wonder if Clark would ever become powerful to defeat the General and become the perfect superman, my favorite part from Part 2 is when Superman defeats Dr Ivo from gaining too much energy from in the Metropolis City, and of course the Clark & Lois Romance scene from the mid-end of this episode, spoilers are the General receives Dr. Ivo’s Gun/creation from the black ops to hunt and track down Superman, means the General and the Villains haven’t defeated Superman yet, so it’s more likely the Black ops, villains and General would hunt down Superman. By the way it’s an awesome episode because of the intense action, designs, anime-ish & avatar-esque animation and of course the Clark & Lois Romance Scenes

Episode 10 (Finale of Season 1): after the events of Zero Day part 2, Lois Lane’s Dad IS The General, the robots have invaded earth and Clark Kent/Superman had to stop it from ruining thanksgiving, at least Lois Lane has trusted Superman for now alongside Jimmy Olsen, But the General hasn’t been defeated, so what will happen to the General after Lois confronted him from trying to defeat Superman? And also spoilers are in the end of this episode, One of the Krypto Leaders who made the Robots as enemies really knew who Superman was and wanted to defeat Superman and send him to the place where he belong, can’t wait for Season 2 of this beautiful DC anime-esque show!

The Verdict: My Adventures with Superman has to be one of the best DC cartoons (and anime of course because it reminds me of a Crunchyroll anime lol) of 2023, which has like Lois Lane as if it was the Anime/DC version of Luz Noceda from the owl house, Invincible-like Animation and of course, it’s designs are so awesome, I haven’t watched DC cartoons in a long time since Teen Titans 2003, but if you want a good new DC cartoon, this is the perfect show for you!

Pros

• Best Animation compared to Crunchyroll Anime and Invincible
• The fight scenes are very good
• the character designs are so cool
• the credits is very amazing
• the opening is so great!
• The Romance Scenes of Lois Lane & Clark Kent as Superman are beautiful.

Cons

• the show is seriously flawed for a little bit

So, I've Watched the First Season of Unicorn Warriors Eternal on adult swim and it was amazing since it was made by Genndy Tartakovsky, the show did make some good advertising and promotion though, it was successful like Smiling Friends by Psychicpebbles and Michael Cusack on adult swim, and did better than Rick & Morty and Every Anime nowadays, that's why there should be more cartoons like that in the near future if Animation still keeps going strong during the WGA Strike

S1E1: The Awakening: Part One - the awakening part 1 spoilers is the Copernicus has turned a princess named Emma into a emo dark hero with his unicorn belt in his belly when emma was supposed to marry her boyfriend , that's my only spoilers for the first episode, but still the beginning scene has me feel like it was like a ralph bakshi movie (same to the wizard from the beggining of the episode as well), that's why it's better to watch this show that will blow your mind

S1E2: The Awakening: Part Two - This episode was funny in the beginning because after Copernicus turns one of the henchmen into a cosmic monk named Seng, Seng meets his adult cosmic monk man from the beginning of the first episode of the show, other favorite parts is the zombie mammoth elephant scene and of course, edred's first appearance in the carnival before the zombie mammoth attack. this episode was amazing!

S1E3: A Fateful Encounter - this episode is way more funnier because of edred and seng blocking emma's view from the embarrassingly made gladitor stones, the Zoltar-Looking genie that met Emma was funnier as well, the best scene is Melinda and Emma when they met each other in half of the episode, this episode is so amazing.

S1E4: What Lies Beneath - it's such an amazing episode that was, my favorite part was the zombie pirates scene and the fox lady from that beginning, can't wait for episode 5 next thursday

S1E5: The Past Within - it was such an great episode, my favorite part is that emma, copernicus, seng and edred were fighting an giant huge kraken, the spoiler/sad part is that copernicus got defeated by the kraken, the part that made me cry alot is Emma meeting young melinda.

S1E6: The Mystery of the Secrets - such an amazing episode so far, my favorite part is that the Emma fighting the Fox lady, the captain guy actually cracked me up and laugh in the beginning while talking to the sheriff officer.

S1E7: The Heart of Kings - Amazing Episode so far, my favorite part is the elf warrior edred and his elf friends that almost didn't knew him as the wanted person, and of course the Merlin in prison part where he made a closeup almost scared me a little

S1E8: Darkness Before the Dawn - Amazing episode, my favorite part is the Tiger's first appearance which reminded me of tigress from kung fu panda, and edred fighting against wiston as a werewolf before winston stopped fighting at the end of the episode because of merlin turning into the evil.

S1E9: A Love's Last Night - Awesome Episode, from what i can recall my favorite part is the unicorn team along with the tiger & winston the werewolf fighting against the evil's dark enemies inside seng's mind, adult seng and the white lion, in the end of the episode, the episode grabbed emma badly by hand and turned emma from an emo to half of the forms back to normal (like princess emma and adult melinda) which made two of them get back to normal & emma getting sent back to her family from the first episode/wedding part

S1E10: End of the Beginning - best episode ever, such a shame the ending we'll never get to see adult Melinda and Seng coming back to normal from the beginning (the awakening part one), at least Emma turned back into her gothic form with Copernicus turning Emma alongside original Melinda into the same form once again, the evil was probably defeated? oh and of course the heroes were sent to the real word after the evil was defeated.

The Whole Season as a Series Ranked: 100/10

Pros:

• Amazing Animation compared to 70s French cartoons like Betty Boop & Popeye mixed with 2000s action
• Same Creator of Samurai Jack, PRIMAL, Star Wars Clone Wars, Sym-Bionic Titan, Hotel Transylvania and Dexter's Laboratory
• Awesome Fight Scenes compared to Anime like Fate/Zero
• Perfectly Action Music
• Cool Voice Acting (which was Grey DeLisle Griffin voicing the Fox Lady & Adult Melinda)
• Perfectly Designed Characters like Emma, Copernicus & Edred (even the Fox Lady from the Evil & Merlin)
• Writing is Better same to Storyboarding
